Be assertive
Find two or three of your virtues or interests, and show your worth. Are you passionate about golf or astronomy? Share your enthusiasm with others. People who share your interest will be wooed from the get-go.
Be honest
Don’t try to reinvent your life or embellish reality. Making a mean spaghetti sauce does not make you a chef (especially if it’s your one cooking skill!). Also, watching hockey at home with your best friend doesn’t mean you’re sociable or athletic person.
